Fiadh Durham

Fiadh is my hand-weaving business based in Dingle a picturesque small town in the South West of Ireland. I produce bespoke hand woven scarves, shawls and blankets. I also make one-off tapestry collections inspired by patterns in nature.

In 2007 I received a bDes (hons) in National College of Art & Design, specialising in woven textiles. In 2011 after gaining experience working in textiles and travelling extensively, I established my own weaving workshop.

I work a lot on exploring weave structures, combining weave with other textile disciplines and developing high quality hand-woven products. Creating textiles that are unique and innovative while remaining true to the craft are central to the driving force behind Fiadh products.
